William S. Sherbin, P.E.
Mr. Sherbin has 33 years of mechanical engineering experience and has worked for the past 24 years in the nuclear power industry, and worked at about one-half of the U.S. nuclear power plants. His principal duties involve design inspection activities for nuclear utility clients, the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and the Department of Energy (DOE). These activities include participating as a team member in Safety System Functional Inspections (SSFIs) at nuclear power plants, and program oversight for DOE Office of River Protection at Hanford, Washington. As a design engineer, Mr. Sherbin is experienced in the area of cooling water systems and has performed hydraulic and heat transfer calculations. He also recently performed design engineering calculation reviews at Point Beach Nuclear Plant.
